Critically acclaimed Tobias Persson "MAN PÅ PROV" on Sweden tour this fall!

Comedian Tobias Persson and "Man på prov" was received with standing ovations and rave reviews during the spring tour. Now we are pleased to announce that Tobias brings his critically acclaimed comedy show - directed by none other than Rachel Mohlin - further out on the big tour in the fall. It is specifically in 12 locations around the country where it is now clear that "Man på prov" will be played.
"You who love babies so much, why not provide NI children ?!" If Tobias Persson received a dime for every time the question is asked, he had almost not had to take bank loans to countless IVF attempts.
For four years I delivered tubes in the daytime and stand up comedy at night. In addition, I stood in adoptionskö, went parent education, made the "values clarification" from hell, trying to keep the marriage alive, says Tobias Persson.
Humor show "Man på pro" is a deeply personal story about the longing for children. "Man på prov" is anything but heavy and serious - after 17 years in country's humor scenes, with the prize "this year's male comedians' luggage, screenwriting, countless television and radio appearances Tobias has the ability to put a twist on the gravity without trivializing . Audiences are treated to liberating and at times black humor - everything from a father's perspective.
"One of the samples are of the highest class. Persson delivers with such a natural that I ask myself what is rehearsed script and what is new for the evening. There is never anything unnatural in either tone or movement." - TeaterStockholm.se

Melodifestivalen 2018 Top 28: #24 “Min dröm” — Kalle Moraeus & Orsa Spelmän

Kalle Moraeus & Orsa Spelmän brought their folksy charm to Melodifestivalen with their entry "Min dröm," which had a charming number in its style and presentation, from the set pieces to the dancers executing the appropriate choreography. There's not much that's particularly bad about the song or number but the other numbers simply did more to stand out and make an impact by comparison.

Melodifestivalen 2018 Top 28: #25 "Titta vi flyger" — Stiko Per Larsson

Photo: Lizel Strömberg (ZEL Photography)

Stiko Per Larsson was this year's P4 contest-winner which earned him a spot in Melodifestivalen. After his win, he had to compose a new song for the contest entitled "Titta vi flyger," a cheery love song with simple staging. The most important piece of trivia we took away from Stiko's participation is how active he is in his charity walking tours which he has done for many years now. His song might not have done much to win over the Swedish televoters but if his participation managed to help his charity work, that's still a win in our books.

Watch our full interview with Stiko Per Larsson here:

These contest winners haven't fared well in the contest, with the closest to qualification in recent years being SMILO's "Weight of the World" back in 2016. If this pre-contest is to continue, there needs to be a serious conversation and consequent overhaul of its infrastructure to give these acts an actual fighting chance. If not, what is the point?
