Rai's New Look and More in FALLEN WORLD Character Designs

First Look: FALLEN WORLD Character Designs

As first revealed at CBR, Valiant Entertainment is thrilled to present an engrossing first look at AJ Jothikumar's charismatic character designs for FALLEN WORLD, an epic sci-fi limited series by writer Dan Abnett (Aquaman) and artist Adam Pollina (X-Force). Launching this May, FALLEN WORLD is part of the BREAKTHROUGH slate, Valiant's lineup of new titles that are perfect jumping-on spots while also greatly expanding the shared universe's mythos.
"AJ’s designs are fantastic," Abnett told CBR. "He’s visually refreshing key existing characters like Rai and Bloodshot, and supplying new looks for supporting cast members like Karana and Lula. This is a whole new world – not just because it’s 'Valiant future,' but because of the literally earth-shattering events of 4001 AD. A new age, a new dawn, a new culture growing up with a look of its own."

Feast your eyes on Jothikumar's character designs below.

Praise for Role-playing game-themed fantasy DIE wins issue number two a second printing

Image Comics is pleased to announce that Die #2will be fast-tracked to a second printing in order to keep up with consumer enthusiasm for the new series by New York Times bestselling creator Kieron Gillen (The Wicked + The Divine) and artist Stephanie Hans.
Die is a pitch-black fantasy where a group of adults have to deal with the returning unearthly horror they barely survived as teenage role-players. The series is perhaps best described as “Goth Jumanji”—but that only captures a sliver of what you’ll find in this series where fantasy gets all too real.
Die #2, 2nd printing (Diamond Code DEC188162), Die #3 Cover A by Hans (Diamond Code DEC180240), and Die #3 Cover B by Bartel (Diamond Code DEC180241) will all be available on Wednesday, Feb 6.
